     Robert McKinley Lane was born on 21 September 1921 in Mullens, Wyoming County, West Virginia. He was the son of Charles A. Lane and Maudie G. Beaver. Robert McKinley Lane married Oleda Frances Prichard, daughter of Ora Lee Prichard and Una Gay Cremeans, 1944 in Logan County, West Virginia.

     Robert McKinley Lane died 1 October 1999.
